Fort Lauderdale Beach & Las Olas Beach
Fort Lauderdale, The Venice of the America’s, is known for its 185+ miles of canals, beaches, and waterways. Fort Lauderdale offers perfect tawny sand, bright golden sun, and blue-green waters. South Florida, or So-Flo, offers vacationers and beach-goers some of the most world-renowned beaches, attractions, and entertainment in the nation. Fort Lauderdale is one of the most visited vacation destinations across North America.
Fort Lauderdale Beach is lined up with stunning hotels, condos and vacation rentals. If you are looking for a beach house or beach bungalow, they are plentiful in the area. I enjoy the luxury of having hotels, restaurants, and activities all in the same proximity. I really like having the ability to walk out of my room and be right on the beautiful beach.
There are many storefronts, food trucks and pop-ups offering beach merch, souvenirs, and beachside eats and treats. I am all for snowballs and ice cream on a perfectly hot and humid day.
There are beach chairs and umbrellas that beachgoers can rent out. Personally, I am always looking for the shade of the palm trees as I lay on the beach relaxing and listening to the mesmerizing ocean breeze.
There are some rental shops for outdoor recreation and water sports. Fort Lauderdale is made for exploring with twenty miles of immaculate shoreline for vacationers to enjoy and fall in love with!
Fort Lauderdale is home to many gorgeous, extravagant beach homes that sit seaside in all their splendor. Fort Lauderdale also has many impressive marinas including Lauderdale Marina, Las Olas Marina, The Shipyard and more.
Fort Lauderdale has many spectacular vessels, yachts, and riverboat cruises that you can view or set sail on. From the Las Olas Riverwalk, you can board Fort Lauderdale’s Venice of America tour which offers vacationers an easy and entertaining boat cruise of the many points of interest within the area. A must-see neighborhood is the multi-million dollar homes situated along the famed Millionaire’s Row.
Las Olas is along the stretch of Fort Lauderdale Beach and shares the same beach line and elemental beauty. Las Olas Beach is located near the Las Olas Blvd. rendering it walking distance to all of the famous clubs, restaurants, and storefronts.
Las Olas Bvd. is the located in downtown Fort Lauderdale and is the heart of Fort Lauderdale. The Las Olas district is the hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Las Olas Boulevard showcases many chic boutique shops, museums and art galleries and unique sidewalk cafes. Las Olas by night features various bars, swanky lounges, and trendy music venues.
Fort Lauderdale Beach is welcoming to all walks of life, including shorebirds, crustaceans, and sea life. The well-preserved beaches and top-rated amenities are why vacationers from across the country continue to flock to these pristine shores.
Remember, you’re sharing the beach with marine life who call the bright, vast ocean home. It’s good to always tread lightly and be mindful of sand dunes, sea turtles nesting and all of the precious sea life. Always take just what you need, give much more than you receive, and leave only your footprints.
Bucket list dreams come true in Fort Lauderdale Beach!
